Unfortunately, today was a horrible day for DGT and she had a tragic addition to her family. I would encourage people to go over and offer their condolences for her unfortunate gain. It's really a heart breaking situation that could happen to any of us. In times like these, we just have to feel fortunate for the good things in life.
p.s. We're still taking recruits for the SciBlog NFL challenge. Oh, sorry. Too soon? Too insensitive?

I know he's great, and I know he's Brett Favre. But going out and getting the guy to me is like getting to choose any car at the lot and driving off in a 72' Pinto with avocado interior and whiny transmission.
ReplyDeleteHe was great 10 years ago, pretty good 5 years ago and crap after about 6 games last year. It would be a miracle if he managed to stay on the field for a regular season, but the post season? Delusional. AT least they still have a good D-line. Oh, wait.
ReplyDeleteOH NOES!
ReplyDeleteLemme guess, without looking. We have new baby Viking? >:) ehhee hee hee...
At least they didn't sign Vick...
ReplyDeleteFirst off, PLS, you are due for a skullfucking for this. This pain is raw and bleedy and you just keep poking at it. I hate you.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, Tideliar, you could certainly call Brett a baby Viking, as he will whine and cry about every perceived bump and bruise he incurs from oncoming defenses.
Lastly, Odyssey, I would be happier with Vick. I would have been ecstatic with Cassel (OMG would I have been excited about Cassel!!!). I would have been fine with Cutler. BUT HOLY HELL NOT THIS JACKHOLE.
Oh, I can't wait until the season starts. I have a whole stack of pokin' sticks in my office.
ReplyDeletesee...I'm just avoiding home for awhile. And not mentioning this. "He who shall not be named" is a new addition to my mind in football terms....
ReplyDeleteI guess I will never find out if Tavaris learned how to throw the ball...
