What song did you decide to go with? ;) Very happy for you.

And yeah, that's exactly what buying any house is like...drama drama drama. Last time we sold a house, the buyer pitched a fit about his realtor's not telling him that the interest rate went up one percent and literally WALKED OUT of closing (this after we'd put a new roof on the house at his request!). For two hours, we just sat there, not knowing if we were moving or what. His realtor must have talked him down because he came back in, angrily signed everything, and left. We almost fainted with relief.

But once you're happily unpacked, the pain of the negotiations will fade away. I know other people with the same sort of anti-climax feelings, all be it due to other reasons.
In our case the bank forgpt to check our funding, so could not release an okay on the morning before the sell. Offered to go and help them sort it out, picking things up at the other side of the country if I had to. But Noooo, bank made a mistake, but was not running any harder. They were busy, becasue they were too popular. Major anti-climax: sell was postponed a week merely for the bank to fax an okay of three words...
But we have a house, and we lo0ve it.
Climax can still come when you have the keys (hurray) and open door (even bigger hurray!)linhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11547412750676016710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2793086675277097176.post-43369500144232519782009-07-29T09:05:11.908-04:002009-07-29T09:05:11.908-04:00Yay congratulations, now proceed to the local wate...Yay congratulations, now proceed to the local watering hole and order smooth, cold libations.Genomic Repairmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07755692245709237397noreply@blogger.com
